CROWN OF SUCCESS SPELL WITH OUR LADY OF GOOD SUCCESS 

Purpose: To gain success in career, legal matters, school, entrepreneurship, job interviews, spiritual elevation, public respect, and all endeavors requiring favor and prestige. This working crowns your head, opens your way, and brings victory through the intercession of Our Lady.  

YOU WILL NEED

  • 1 white candle (for the Virgin) 
  • 1 yellow, gold, or purple candle (for success + personal elevation) 
  • Crown of Success oil (recipe below)
  • Success incense or frankincense
  • Gold glitter (optional but recommended)
  • Gold paint pen (or white) (If using a chime candle just carve it in)
  • Holy water (or Florida Water if preferred) 
  • A small white or gold cloth 
  • A picture or statue of Our Lady of Good Success 
  • A key (for open roads) 
  • Your petition paper 
  • Your personal concern (hair, signature, name paper) 

PREPARATION

Cleanse all items with holy water and consecrate them with prayer and incense 

Place both candles in front of the image of Our Lady. 

Wash your hands and the top of your head with a few drops of holy water, saying: 

“Mother of Good Success, crown me with victory.” 

Place the key on the altar before her as a symbol of open roads.  

WRITE YOUR PETITION

On a small square of paper, write:  

  • Your full name & DOB 7 times
  • Turn paper to the right 
  • Write 7 times over your name: Open my way and crown me with success.

Dress the four corners and center of the petition with Crown of Success oil. Place your hair and signature on top. 

Fold the paper toward you three times.  

Dress the candle with crown of success oil, Bay leaf pieces, cinnamon, orange peel and gold glitter. With a white or gold paint pen write the success sigil down the yellow candle 7 times: $$cc$$ (the "c" is a cent symbol)

THE CROWNING

Hold the yellow/gold/purple unlit candle to your forehead, saying: 

“Our Lady of Good Success, place your crown upon my head and raise me above obstacles, above competition, above confusion, above delay. As you were crowned by heaven, crown me with triumph on earth.” 

Then place the petition beneath the success candle and light them.

Declaration

Say: “My head is blessed, my name is lifted, my road is open, my success is certain.” 

THE 7-KNOCK SEALING

With your knuckles, knock 7 times on the altar or table where the candles sit, sealing your request into the spiritual world. Say: 

“Seven knocks for seven blessings. It is done.”  

Seal the whole working in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit +++

LET THE CANDLES BURN DOWN

As they burn, pray her traditional prayer three times while visualizing your success: 

“Our Lady of Good Success, grant me the favor I ask of you.” 

Keep the key beside the candles until the work is completed.  If you are working glass pillar candles, continue working them over the next several days repeating the petition prayer when relighting. Put the candles out if you leave the house or go to sleep. 

WHEN THE WORK IS DONE

When the candles finish:  

  • Wrap the petition and key in the white/gold cloth 
  • Tie it with string 
  • Place it in:  
    • Your purse 
    • A desk drawer 

Carry it with you until success manifests.  

OFFERINGS

Once your success comes through, give her:  

  • White flowers 
  • A rosary 
  • A white candle vigil 
  • Public thanks (traditional folk offering) 

Our Lady of Good Success responds strongly to offerings given with gratitude. 

Crown of Success Oil Recipe

  • Bay leaf 
    • Cinnamon 
    • Orange peel 
    • Five-finger grass 
    • A bit of honey 
    • A drop of frankincense oil (optional) 
    • Gold glitter or mica powder 
    • Olive oil 
    • Mason jar

Bless each herb and call on its spirit and then combine together with the olive oil  in a mason jar. Bless 5 tealight candles and place one on each side of the mason jar and one on top. Light them clockwise while calling on each direction (start in the east) to bless this oil with the power of success and victory. Light the final candle on the top in the name of your "Guides, guardians, ancestors and angels" to bless this oil with the power of success and victory. 

Finish by praying one Our Father, one Hail Mary and one Glory Be to seal it. 

Once the candles have gone out you can transfer the oil mixture, herbs and all, into a preferable container and use at anytime. If you would like to strain the herbs out of the oil you will need to leave the mason jar in a dark place for at least four weeks before straining and bottling.
